The Week that Was of 2010

This will be my first blog for 2011!  :)

To God be the glory forever!

Aug.13-21.2010

As the year 2010 ended, I just  thought of blogging the most meaningful week I had for the year.  It's the mission week!  I am so blessed being part of it!  8 days spent with God...  8 days of sharing God's amazing love... 8 days that changed me...  Thank you and I love you, Lord...

Oman Missionaries - MEx 2010

.

Friday the 13th, Ramadan, which means no eating and drinking in public.   Call time is 530AM at DNATA Deira area, Oman Bus Terminal.   The big challenge for me is not the early call time but how to eat breakfast before leaving home and stand the five-hour trip without eating or drinking despite the hot weather.  Hayyyy, grabeee!  The night before nag-iisip na ako paano ako kakain ng breakfast.  Talking to myself:  naku, kailangan ko kumain ng breakfast bukas bago ako umalis kasi patay ako sa byahe pag nagkataon.  Whehehe!  Takot magutom!   Hehehe!

Coi Ariel

Was up at 4AM to cook and eat breakfast and came 5AM si master Coi nagro-roll call na baka kasi tulog pa ang mga missionaries at maiwan pa ng bus. Hehehe!

Joy Albano
All of us had our FIRSTS here in Oman.  It was my first time to go on mission, to see Oman, to deliver a short talk, to be a sharer after the talk, to be in Docu min, to use SLR camera, to organize a dance number, to pass by these emirates - Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Fujairah, and Abu Dhabi all in one go.

Jill Camino
Thank you to Tito Jo and Tita Beng for opening their home to us.  Grateful for Bro. Shen, our mission coordinator.  For their time, financial and spiritual support, and suggestions during the entire mission week.  We thank God for giving you to us.  Team Oman loves you so much!  Thanks also to the CFC-Oman and its family ministries:  SFC, YFC, KFC brothers and sisters.

Malou Tablazon
New friends found in Oman, fellow missionaries, SFC-Oman kapatids, CFC titos and titas, YFC little bros and sissies. With me in Oman are Joy Albano (AUH), Jill Camino (DXB), Kim Mabute (DXB), Jenny Montero (DXB), Malou Tablazon (Qatar), and headed by Coi Ariel, Oman MV.  Sadly, Fonzy Garcia (DXB) and Mike Jurado (Qatar) were not able to make it.  Oman mission will never be the same again without all of you.

Hoping to do more of God's missions with you!  See you all until the next Mission Exchange! God bless 2011! :)
