“I am blessed!” – are the words so timely for this MEC’s theme, BLESSED! Overwhelmed by God’s love for me.  Yes, God has blessed me in so many beautiful ways.  I had one of the best weekends of my life last November 9th and 10th.  It was the 14th Singles for Christ Middle East Conference held in Sharjah, UAE, attended by over a thousand SFCs all over the Middle East region – Qatar, Bahrain, KSA, Oman, Lebanon, Yemen, Kuwait, UAE.  This MEC is one very special to me, it was my first MEC serving behind the scenes, grateful being part of the technical service team.  It was a great privilege for me as I use my skills glorifying Him in my simple piece.  I know what I did wasn’t enough to give back what the Lord has provided for me and my loved ones.  And I just realized, I captured no photos of myself for this conference and only took two shots of the stage from my phone, poor me but happily serving as I sat at the technical booth. Hahaha!  This year’s MEC made me appreciate my work, my profession more than ever.  My tweets, Facebook wall posts, photos/albums, and check-ins, together with this blog site, have had their shares in evangelizing my friends online.  Just recently, I learned that a former college schoolmate now based in Malaysia joined the CFC community there and friends from my younger years together with few of  my workmates also joined the community.  I pray and hope that they’ll continue what they’ve started in contributing to God’s Mission. Myself, being in the field of information technology, had helped lots of people already, inside and outside the community, but using it for God’s conference like MEC is another different experience and story to be thankful for.  I know and could humbly say that I still have a long way to go in service but I always believe that if we say “YES” to Him and gave our best shot, would be all that matters to God. I am hopeful and looking forward for many years of service for Him,  my Stronghold, my Boss, my Provider.  As what Kuya Noli is always saying, “When all our limits end, God’s grace begins.”
